PAHS is an Academy established on the robust foundation of an institution with a history going back to 1956 when it started as Shanta Bhawan Hospital and later amalgamated with Lalitpur District Hospital to form the present day Patan Hospital. As a Teaching Hospital of PAHS, it continues to provide low cost high quality service.<\/p>\n
We take pride in the innovative approaches that we have taken in health professional education in all the three schools like Problem Based Learning(PBL), Clinical Presentation curriculum, Medical Humanities, Community Based Learning and Education (CBLE), Competency Based Education etc to produce not only technically competent but also compassionate health professional with capacity to lead for the country.<\/p>\n
