Patan Hospital, Patan Academy of Health Sciences, is one of the centers for \u2018<\/span>Life for a child<\/a>\u2018 (LFAC) program of\u00a0<\/span>International Diabetes Federation.The LFAC\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>helpschildren with diabetes in developing countries.\u00a0 Since 2006, LFAC is supporting type 1 diabetes children and young adults (upto 25 years)coming to Patan Hospital by providinginsulin, syringes,glucometerand glucometer strips. LFAC has provided equipment for micro albuminuria and covers the cost of HbA1c and micro albuminuria tests.<\/span><\/p>\n
